BUK Extends Registration, Reschedules Time for School Activities

 


Bayero University Kano, Kano State has extended the period of undergraduate registration. The extension comes as a result of disbursement's delay by Netfuland to the school management. Concerning the delay which led to the failure of registration by almost five thousand students (5000), the university stakeholders see it necessary to extend the period.


The extension of two weeks were added by the school's management. The period of extension will end on 19 August, 2024. In addition, the nation wide protest,🪧 the poor Internet, and the curfew in Kano state made the extension necessary.


The university also rescheduled time for its activities. The university's management rescheduled its activities to start from 8am to 2pm (WAT), following the curfew by Kano state government. The Kano state governor declared curfew across the state. The curfew shall be effective after two 🕝 o'clock afternoons until further address by the governor, which made it necessary for the school to reschedule the time for its activities.
