Is The English Language Knowledge or Just a Language?
English language, as any language, is just a means of communication between persons, through the sound that mouth produces. If people speak the same language, that particular language is the very means of communication between them, but, if they speak different languages they may need to deploy another language as a means of communication between them. At this juncture, the English language can be used, being it a lingua franca, or any of the widely spoken languages, such as Arabic or French, if the persons can speak either of the languages. The English language, or any other language can be considered as knowledge, not just a language. If a person became erudite of a particular language, that person is said to have the knowledge of that language.
